- Yes, if a smooth, full blowout is what you want. PureWow gave it 95 out of 100 and timed a full style at 13 minutes 23 seconds. Its tester found the handle thicker than she liked, and on dry hair it struggled somewhat to detangle the ends.

It detangles and dries in one pass and leaves hair smoother with less frizz. In PureWow's test a full style took 13 minutes 23 seconds. Grazia's tester, who has thick hair, found it gave lasting volume and bounce without snagging. The handle is thicker than some people like, and on dry hair it struggles a little to detangle the ends. Good for: people who blow-dry most days and want a faster, smoother blowout.

The barrels pull hair on by themselves, and the curl button runs the wrap, heat and cool shot for you, so even curls take little skill. Curls look neat and last longer than other air stylers, but they still drop sooner than curls from a hot iron, most of all on fine or damaged hair. Good for: People who want the easiest auto-curl and will pay top price; long or medium hair that holds a curl.
